Astro Pak continues to accumulate awards and quality certifications from respected government and industry organizations. For example, as a result of our monumental effort in cleaning literally tons of precision parts composed of stainless steel, aluminum and other materials to exacting quality standards, we were honored with the U.S. Department of Energy's "Small Business of the Year" award in 2001. The "Administrator's Award for Excellence" from the United States Small Business Administration soon followed. Since then, we've continued to affirm our quality commitment by instituting a Quality Management System that has been certified to ISO 9001:2008 and AS 9100B:2004 standards.
Why do we take quality so seriously? It's simple, really. We recognize the importance of components' surface and operational integrity. Aside from non-corrosion and decontamination needs, trapped particles on components could spell catastrophe or result in compromised performance. We value our customers too much to let that happen.
