Oxygen & Ozone System Cleaning Services
Serving the Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Industries, Astro Pak provides "Oxygen Cleaning" services through both our On-site Industrial and In-House Cleanroom Service Divisions. In recent years, numerous facilities have added additional bioreactors that require oxygen to facilitate aerobic bacterial oxidation of organic materials or converted their chlorine-based drinking water disinfection facilities to ozone. In each case, the cleanliness of the oxygen and ozone systems is critical to safe and efficient operations. As little as 50 milligrams per square foot of hydrocarbon residue left in an oxygen or ozone system can lead to disaster. Astro Pak has specialized in cleaning these "oxidizer-type" systems since 1959. We utilize CGA-approved chemistries designed for the removal of hydrocarbon and particulate matter from various-sized vessels, pumps, valves, piping and tubing. In addition, our In-House Cleanroom Service Division utilizes ultrasonic baths to cost-effectively clean various components at Astro Pak's clean room facilities located in Downey, CA, and Livermore, CA. Cleanliness verification testing and a complete certification package are part of our basic service offering.
