High-Velocity Oil Flushing Services
Hydraulic, lubricating and fuel oil systems require initial chemical cleaning to remove detrimental particulate, varnish, mill scale, machining waste (i.e. metal chips), and more prior to system start-up. Astro Pak provides high velocity oil flushing services through the use of either pressure-compensated, positive-displacement hydraulic pumps or high volume centrifugal pumps that produce up to 2100 GPM for larger piping systems. Each type employs a heat exchanger and particulate filtration to control fluid temperature and remove contaminates. These pumps achieve turbulent flow (Reynolds Number > 4000) in oil systems where cleanliness is critical to operational longevity. Astro Pak has extensive experience providing chemical cleaning and high velocity flushing in the Aerospace, Aluminum, Power Generation, Steel, and Water and Wastewater treatment industries where oil is used in various applications. Astro Pak has an expert understanding of how to engineer the right high velocity (oil) flushing and chemical cleaning equipment to clean these oil systems. We possess a complete library of the specifications that govern the manufacture and chemical cleaning of these oil systems.
