Ozone and Oxygen Enriched System Cleaning

Serving the Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Industries, Astro Pak provides oxygen cleaning service through our On-site, as well as In-House Shop and Clean Room Divisions using CGA G-4.1-approved chemistries. In recent years, numerous facilities have added additional bioreactors that require oxygen to facilitate aerobic bacterial oxidation of organic materials or converted their chlorine-based drinking water disinfection facilities to ozone. In each case, the cleanliness verification of the ozone and oxygen enriched systems is critical to safe and efficient operations. As little as 50 milligrams per square foot of hydrocarbon residue left in an ozone or oxygen system can lead to disaster. Astro Pak has specialized in cleaning these "oxidizer-type" systems since 1959. We utilize CGA G-4.1-approved chemistries designed for the removal of hydrocarbon and particulate matter from various-sized vessels, pumps, valves, piping and tubing. In addition, our Clean Room Division utilizes ultrasonic baths to cost-effectively provide component cleaning at Astro Pak's facilities located in Downey, CA, Livermore, CA, San Diego, CA and Cape Canaveral, FL. Cleanliness verification testing and a complete certification package are part of our basic oxygen cleaning service offering.

Astro Pak also provides oxygen cleaning, cleaning for oxygen service and component cleaning for the Aerospace & Defense, Commercial Aircraft, Hospital, Semiconductor and various Industrial Industries. Our experienced personnel perform oxygen cleaning service and cleanliness verification on breathing oxygen systems, oxygen systems for launch vehicles and test stands as well as oxygen systems used in Semiconductor and Industrial manufacturing plants. Astro Pak’s chemistries meet or exceed CGA G-4.1 standards in addition to various ASTM and other industry/client standards. Whether you need our services delivered on-site at your location or in-house in one of our shops or clean rooms for component cleaning, Astro Pak has the equipment and resources to serve projects of any size occurring anytime and anywhere.
